Heliotaxis And I Before E

Stocking fillers ahoy!

This month sees a new release by Heliotaxis, a psychedelic free-form trio from Brooklyn, New York. This one is very limited, so grab it while you can! Dirty Demos is also pleased to announce the long awaited debut from I Before E. Expect a surreal mix of electronica beats, field recordings, ragga vocals and experimental passages. Nice!

It seems a festive gig is out of the question, as unfortunently every venue is fully booked. Looks like I’ll have to save this bottle of sherry till next year! Those fine folk at APOLLOLAAN RECORDINGS have just released Sindre Bjerga’s set from the last show in October. It’s titled ‘Angel Heart, Sparkling With Fire’, limited to 50 numbered copies and comes complete with a flyer for the evening. Check it out!

Also worth a listen is ‘A Light Year Of Sundays’, a rather good CD by KASPER VAN HOEK. Two of the tracks originally appeared on the limited edition ‘Den Haag/Groningen/Froombosch’ CDR which was released on Dirty Demos earlier this year. The track ‘Hooftweg/Deliphein’ is also featured on the ‘Mind The Gap 73’ compilation CD (3000 copies) presented by Dutch magazine GONZO CIRCUS.
