Dead Wood is the solo experimental sound based project of Adam Baker, who lives in Dorset, U.K. The project was started in 2003 and explores the world of microsound, sinewaves and sound textures. Sometimes quiet, sometimes loud, these experiments are created using a laptop, guitar, kids toys, field recordings etc.

Dead Wood has performed live in Dorset and London, U.K. and has had CDR releases on labels such as Tibprod, Dirtydemos, Kabukikore, Tin Cans And Twine etc. Adam is also one half of electronica duo I Before E, performs live in an improvised laptop collective and runs the Dirty Demos label.
