about Loïs Laplace is something of a hero round these parts. Previously on Dirty Demos had been the 'Inland' album, tracks on both the 'Observation Point' compilations, a collaboration release with Guillaume Gargaud under the name of Aarde, and now Loïs is back with a very personal and interesting new project. 'To semiturn' is an abstract video filmed on a ship travelling around the world. A reflection of footage recorded on a four month journey at sea, floating the oceans. The whole film is made by Lois, including the experimental sound track, a haunting mix of rhythmical glitch and electronics. Screen printed disc in blue cases.
